This film was the last film produced by Laura Ziskin, who died from breast cancer at her home in Santa Monica, California on June 12, 2011, aged 61. Her film career consisted of producing What About Bob?, the 74th and 79th Annual Academy Award ceremonies, Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3, and The Amazing Spider-Man, and executive producing Pretty Woman. In addition of holding the distinction of being the first woman to produce the Academy Awards telecast alone (the 74th Academy Awards in 2002), she also, along with other people and the Entertainment Industry Foundation, founded the charitable organization Stand Up to Cancer on September 5, 2008. It is uncertain, yet, that the film would be dedicated to her memory. See more »
