Trivia:

The yellow leather jacket worn by Alicia Silverstone was sold on to actor/stand-up comic, Paul Rawson for $890. The Jacket also came with Silverstone's shirt/Black Swede pants and a lip-stick top.

Goofs:

Audio/visual unsynchronized:
At the end of the movie, when Vincent closes the trunk of the Cadillac Deville with his leg, there is a distinctive latching sound of the trunk. Cadillacs do not make such a sound since they have a motorized trunk-closing mechanism which closes the trunk silently when the deck lid is closed gently. It is impossible for a Cadillac to make such a sound as the one in the movie (unless it was modified).

Quotes:

User Review

Misunderstood movie–well worth seeing.

Rating: 9/10

Excess Baggage was a joy. Alicia Silverstone is gorgeous, bratty, and
fun.
Benicio del Toro is frumpy and totally unlike any other leading man ever.
Unfortunately, this film seems to have been misunderstood in a big way, by
the audience, by reviewers, and by the people I saw it with. But, it's
worth another look.
