Did You Know?
Melanie Griffith auditioned for the lead role, but backed out.
Errors in geography:
Throughout a lot of the shots of the gang in Chicago, Brad and Sara's parents' building is shown facing them as they are running through the city. This is geographically impossible, as the diamond cut of the building actually faces Lake Michigan.
Mike what what?
Mike what what what are we talking about? What's his last name?
Toddwell. Are you writing a book?
Mike Toddwell? Do you know him?
They go out.
He's got a red Camaro, right?
Oh, gee, Daryl, are you a gear head and a sex fiend? Anyway, a lot of people have Camaros.
Yeah, but do a lot of people have the license plate "So Cool"?
A really sweet and innocent comedy about a girl who babysits but has to take a tour downtown.
This is a really funny movie because you never really know where it's
going. Basically everything that happens in it happens by accident.
It's not only funny but also exciting if you aren't that old. I think
It sort of reminds me about "Afterhours" (starring Griffin Dunne) but
this is the family version of that movie. Anything can happen during a
crazy night or so it seems. Elisabeth Shue is good in this movie and
everyone in it seems to have had a good time making it. If you just
want to see a cute movie which makes you feel good , or if you've had
enough of over-dramatic epics , action that blows you out of your seat
and bloody horror movies , check this out. It's sweet , funny , lovable
and adventurous all at the same time. If you don't like it , there are
more than enough of violence out there for you.
